Installation Guide

Crudspace.io is a web-based application that doesn't require any installation on your local machine. However, there are a few steps to properly set up and configure your connection to Salesforce.

System Requirements

• Web Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari (latest versions recommended)
• Internet Connection: Stable internet connection required
• Salesforce Edition: Professional, Enterprise, Unlimited, Developer, or Performance editions
• Permissions: Administrator access to your Salesforce org

Account Setup

1. Create a Crudspace.io Account

1. Visit Crudspace.io
2. Click on "Sign Up" or "Create Account"
3. Fill in your details:
   • Name
   • Email address
   • Password
4. Click "Create Account"
5. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox

2. Subscription Options

Crudspace.io offers several subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Access to basic features with limited usage
• Professional: Full access to all permission management tools
• Enterprise: Complete access to all tools with advanced features
• Custom: Tailored solutions for large organizations

Select the appropriate subscription based on your needs and complete the subscription process if applicable.

Connecting to Salesforce

1. OAuth Connection

1. After logging in to Crudspace.io, navigate to "Settings" > "Salesforce Connections"
2. Click "Add New Connection"
3. Choose your Salesforce environment type:
   • Production
   • Sandbox
4. Click "Connect to Salesforce"
5. You'll be redirected to the Salesforce login page
6. Log in with your Salesforce credentials
7. Review the permission requests and click "Allow"
8. You'll be redirected back to Crudspace.io after successful authentication

2. Security Considerations

• Crudspace.io uses OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication
• All data transmission is encrypted with SSL/TLS
• Connections can be revoked at any time from both Crudspace.io or Salesforce
• No Salesforce credentials are stored by Crudspace.io

Configuring User Preferences

After connecting to Salesforce, you can configure your user preferences:

1. Navigate to "Settings" > "User Preferences"
2. Set your default view options
3. Configure notification preferences
4. Set your default landing page
5. Customize theme and appearance
6. Click "Save Changes"
